Tamalameque

The Tamalameque were indomitable warriors

This culture inhabited the marshes of the high valley of the Yaruma and Great Magdalena River.

The Tamalameque were indomitable warriors, great navigators and experts in the life of the large marshes, as well as architects of the sky and creators of special artistic manifestations.

These notable ecologists were the children of the jaguar and the alligator.

Guane

Farmers and weavers of great physical beauty

This Chibcha culture, brothers of the Muisca, developed in fertile and arid sectors of Santander, the land of liberty.

Farmers and weavers of great physical beauty, the Guane were warlike and proud. They preferred suicide to slavery. Their culture was so completely destroyed that it is very difficult to reconstruct it today.
